Ann Brazil

Ann Brazil is a retired Marketing Consultant for Fortune 500 companies (30 yrs). She is also the multi-award-winning producer, director and writer of “TimeOut Tot to the Rescue” — a children’s program that stands in the winners’ circle with Disney’s Finding Nemo.” (TimeOut Tot is a puppet, made by a Jim Henson puppet-maker who rescues (real) children from timeout and teaches them right from wrong.) Her program has proven effective in improving the behavior of preschool-age children.

Ann is also happily married (38 yrs) and a mother of three: a son who is I/DD son (34) with mild autism and expressive language disorder, living in a home of his own with a caregiver in a Section 8 Voucher house, working at VONS (11 yrs), volunteering at Huntington Hospital (6 yrs) and volunteering at My Pet Garden’s doggy day care (5 yrs), traveling to and from his work sites using public transportation; a daughter (29) who is a UC Berkeley grad, recently married and working as Strategic Business and Marketing Manager for CBRE’s LA industrial and commercial real estate brokers; another son (27) who is a leukemia survivor and NEU grad, working as Account Manager for Viacom/Pluto TV’s ad sales division.

While raising her children and juggling a career, Ann managed to carve out time in her busy schedule for her local community. She has been honored by the School District and City of San Marino for her volunteerism and asked to serve as a Recreation Commissioner.
