Ismael is an entertainment and advertisement copy writer, which is an occupation that he has held for over twenty years. Prior to his career in advertising, he worked for the Department of Recreation and Parks for the City of Los Angeles. Ismael received his Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Santa Monica College, then furthered his education by graduating from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor's degree in communications. 

In addition to Ismael’s extensive career work, he has volunteered at the Children’s Hunger Fund and the Hollywood Education Literacy Program, which instructs adults on how to read. Aside from spending time with family and his philanthropist efforts, Ismael enjoys hiking, jujitsu, and reading. 

 Ismael’s greatest accomplishment lies within the family he and his wife raised. His oldest son of two, Frances, is fifteen years old and is on the spectrum: as they are both very active members in the FAA community.
